Which fixes the unfortunate caching problem in v.1.5.
All charts that already have been downloaded will work. To check, just set AIRPLANE mode ON. You should not get any ‘internet error’ messages.

This is fixed in v1.5.1 which is already in the approval process, but you never really know how long Apple take to approve changes.
From yesterday until this morning, if you updated the charts the app will crash after selecting charts to cache. The workaround is simple, just delete and reinstall it please. iTunes will NOT charge you again.

And removed it Oct 6. The new METAR/TAF can block map updates when out of connectivity.
I’ll go ahead and submit a 1.4.5 with the map bugfixes in 1.5 so those will be available at least sooner while I work on a new release of 1.5.
Are now being processed. A day or so before the old charts go invalid you will be asked to update your charts.
FYI: 1.4.3.6 will NOT get any new charts, only 1.4.4 will have updates.
